Mersin Tevfik Sirri Gür Stadium Reuse and Masterplan Project

Starting point of the project is to interpret the public role of Tevfik Sırrı Gür Stadium that comes forward in the urban memory with games and gathering. Habitats express the thematic zones signifying the common areas for Citizens + Marine Animals + Natural Vegetation.

This zoning and Habitat System includes several intersections and aims to solve architectural and landscape approaches together. Encouraging participation in public life without only consuming, creating a sustainable economy based on the existing potentials, providing a base for intercultural dialogues and increasing the usage of open areas through creating climatic zones are the main goals of spatial programs that are suggested in Habitats.
